Upgrading Our
Nervous System with
Network Spinal Analysis

We regularly upgrade the software and hardware of our phones, computers and televisions to keep pace with the latest technology. But can we do something to upgrade our body’s internal hardware and software—the nervous system? The nervous system controls and coordinates the function of every cell. It senses changes in our internal and external environments and responds with an appropriate action, such as digesting food, tensing a muscle or marshalling resources to heal a cut.

Our nervous system processes more than 1 million bits of information every second we are awake. When our bodies are not able to efficiently process all that information, it accumulates as tension in the spinal cord and surrounding structures, which can lead to health problems and/or pain. The information comes in many forms: what we eat, what we think, what we see and what we physically do or do not do for our bodies. When we are unable to process all of that information, our nervous system gets overloaded and tension accumulates.

We are constantly bombarded with physical, chemical and emotional stressors—the kids need to get to a sporting event; the project needs to be done for work; we must be vigilant to check email, stream videos online, drive in traffic and much more. Just as computers process increasing amounts of data, life is much more complex for people now than just a few decades ago. Network Spinal Analysis (NSA) chiropractic care upgrades the nervous system to help the body heal from the inside out.

When the spinal cord, the link between brain and body, is subjected to physical, chemical and emotional stressors, the entire body suffers.

In 1970, people viewed an average of 2,000 advertisements per day. Today, the number is closer to 5,000. That’s more than twice as much information that our nervous system is trying to process and integrate. Meanwhile, there are new chemicals in our food, medications, the air that we breathe and lotions we put on our skin to consider. Physical stressors include a fall on the ice, an automobile accident or even sitting at a computer all day. Emotional stressors such as worrying about family and self-doubt are also powerful sources of tension.

The increased tension in our spinal cord and nervous system decreases the efficiency of communication between the brain and the rest of the body—a communication that is essential for vibrant health. When the spinal cord, the link between brain and body, is under excessive tension, this can result in low energy, high blood pressure, digestive problems, headaches, back pain and more.

People associate chiropractors with positioning the spine—and they are right, but chiropractic care is much more than that. NSA focuses specifically on the nerves within the spine to help the body release its own tension, thus upgrading and reorganizing the nervous system. An NSA chiropractor uses a series of precise, light touches applied to specific locations along the spine. As a person experiences NSA chiropractic care, their nervous system is upgraded, causing enhanced communication between their brain and body. This aids in reorganization of the body, the development of new strategies to handle tension within their body, and eventually a change in the structure of the spine.

With a stronger connection between the brain and body, the body starts to spontaneously release tension in the spine and surrounding structures. When we upgrade our nervous system, our bodies function at a higher level because our nervous system is in the best possible position to regulate the body more efficiently and handle all the stressors and information we process on a daily basis.

The NSA approach to wellness promotes reorganizational healing in the body and helps manage stress and tension more effectively. NSA chiropractic care helps our body handle the information overload and can relieve the symptoms that result from tension in the body, such as poor digestion and pain.
