Dr. John Whitcomb Launches Cutting-Edge Wellness University

Dr. John Whitcomb

Dr. John Whitcomb, the owner of Brookfield Longevity Clinic, is starting Wellness University, an innovative, comprehensive lecture series that covers self-care concepts based on the principles used in anti-aging, functional, holistic, integrative and wellness medicines. The series comprises 12 core lectures, plus 20 electives.

Wellness University will meet at Boerner Botanical Gardens, in Hales Corners, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., February 21, April 4, May 30, August 29, October 17 and December 5, and will continue in 2015. Healthy lunch cooking demonstrations follow the lectures.

“We will explain an alternative to our current medical system, which waits until you are sick,” remarks Whitcomb. “Instead, we will focus on how to keep you well. It is the first course of its kind that we could find anywhere in America.”

Whitcomb is board certified by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, where he is a fellowship graduate. He is also a diplomate of the Scripps Institute, board certified in holistic and integrative medicine.

Cost: $80 per module, includes admission to the Botanical Gardens, snacks and healthy lunch. Location: 9400 Boerner Dr., Hales Corners. For registration and more information, call 262-784-5300, email [email protected] or visit Wellness-University.com or LiveLongMD.com.
