Wheat Free Adventure Hosts Social Gathering and Introduction

The Wheat Free Adventure program will hold a social gathering and introduction to its program from 5 to 8 p.m., May 18, at Tree Top Yoga Studio, in Sussex. The program helps people lose weight and get healthy by removing wheat from their diet for six weeks and giving them the support of a mentor to help them achieve their weightloss and health goals. Most importantly, the six-week, Wheat Free Adventure will help participants learn about more wholesome, healthy foods that help them to lose weight naturally and easily, to reduce inflammation and to feel healthier overall.

Recent studies have supported the notion that wheat and gluten (the protein found in wheat, barley, rye and spelt) may be harmful, making some people sick, wreaking havoc in their guts and contributing to weight gain. Gluten, also known as gliadin, can cause serious health problems in individuals that suffer from celiac disease and is linked to fibromyalgia, Crohn’s disease, and other gut inflammatory issues and autoimmune diseases.

Anyone interested in learning more about how easy it is to be wheat-free should attend. Wine and wheat-free, healthy appetizers will be served.

Cost: $5 per person at the door. Location: N93 W25173 Bittersweet Dr., Sussex. For more information, visit WheatFreeAdventure.com to learn more.
