Bhakti Fest: A Weekend of Kirtan, Yoga and Conscious Living

The Center for Spiritual Studies (CSS) announces Bhakti Fest, a festival that blends devotional chanting (kirtan), yoga and conscious living. The three-day festival will begin at 9 a.m., June 29, and run through 11 p.m., July 1, in Madison.

Bhakti Fest offers music, 12 hours of devotional chanting per day, 36 yoga classes with world-renowned instructors and workshops with some of the most powerful guides of our time, such as Krishna Das, Sara Ivanhoe, Darlene Vander Hoop, Dearbhla Kelly, Shymadas and Girish.

Bhakti Fest organizers say the event is not just for those that are familiar with kirtan, yoga or meditation. It is designed for anyone, young or old, that wants to explore a way to tap into bliss, happiness and love. Everyone is welcome.

CSS is a nonprofit foundation created in 1973 to generate a voice for yoga and chanting. It remains dedicated to raising consciousness, bringing about spiritual awareness and creating fellowship through its events and practices. In the spirit of Bhakti, the event will be as eco-friendly as possible. Tickets are available online at BhaktiFest.com.
