Reducing Anxiety With Virtual Sound Therapy

Biofield tuning (BT) balances the body’s energy field using sound vibrations. A 2023 study published in Complementary Therapies in Medicine involved 15 participants that received three weekly hour-long BT sessions over Zoom from certified practitioners during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Participant surveys revealed significant reductions in anxiety, negative emotions and perceived stress after the treatments. They also reported feeling more positive and less overwhelmed. The practitioners observed a decrease in negative emotional language by the participants, indicating a shift to a more positive emotional state. Although the study was small, the results suggest that sound-based energy healing could be an effective, low-risk option for managing anxiety.
