Stay Well This Winter With Essential Oils

Naturopathic doctor Julie Petersen of A Retreat to Vitality will lead a workshop on using essential oils to help boost one’s health over the winter. The workshop begins at 7 p.m., November 10, at Petersen’s practice and wellness retreat in Saukville. Participants will learn which essential oils can help the immune system and promote relaxation.

A Retreat to Vitality also offers their Emotional Aromatic Touch service using essential oils; the SOQI (a combination of the words solar and qi) bed that uses warmth to promote relaxation lymphatic drainage and other benefits; biofeedback for emotional stress release; Wellness Pro bioelectrical therapy for acute and chronic conditions; a jetted hot tub; laser therapy for pain and inflammation; facials; live blood-cell viewing; and ongoing classes. A Retreat to Vitality is located on the serene Milwaukee River. Guests can enjoy the retreat and services by the hour or stay for a few days for a full rejuvenation experience.

Petersen has practiced naturopathic therapies for 35 years. She studied through Trinity School of Natural Health and is certified in techniques including three-in-one concepts and emotional healing.
