“Reiki can be sent to a client that is across town, across the country or on the other side of the world. No distance is too large, and it is just as effective and powerful as if it were in person. The effects have been measured in more than 100 studies conducted over 30 years and it has been found that distance, even thousands of miles, does not appear to limit the effects of healing,” Carlson explains, citing an abstract written by Daniel J. Benor, M.D., and founder of The Doctor-Healer Network, in England. All distant reiki sessions are 30 minutes and can be enjoyed from the comfort of one’s own home.

“Reiki has many benefits which include a reduction in anxiety, stress, depression and physical pain. It is a very gentle and loving energy to support your physical, mental and emotional well-being during this very uncertain time,” says Carlson. Carlson has been practicing reiki for more than 10 years.
