Author Susan Lukas will release her new book, Abiding Flame, at a book launch and psychic fair from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Sunday, October 7, at New Berlin Ale House. Attendees will find a variety of healers, musicians and authors and can learn about the book.

Abiding Flame takes readers on a fantastic journey to Heaven, or the other side. The main character lives a life that grows continually darker until he commits suicide. He thinks this is the end, but instead he meets his spirit guide who leads him on a fantastic, wonderful journey in the afterlife.

Abiding Flame will be sold as a set with its companion book, The Spirit Connection, which offers insights into what Lukas’ spirit guides advise to live a happier, healthier life. Featured in the book are several healers and mediums selected by the author and her spirit guides as good representations of the diverse healing opportunities available. The set will be offered for a special price of $10 on the day of the event, discounted from $20.
