White Conch Dharma Center Presents Tonglen Meditation Workshop

Domo Geshe Rinpoche

Domo Geshe Rinpoche, Buddhist Lama of the Tibetan tradition, will teach Taking Suffering into the Heart of Compassion–Tonglen Half-Day Workshop, from 2 to 5 p.m. March 10, at Unity Church, in Wauwatosa.

“In the face of suffering, we often put up walls as protection. With a closed heart, we suffer from a sense of separation,” says Rinpoche. “Tonglen is a powerful practice that helps dissolve our self-protection and awakens the heart of compassion. Come and learn the healing benefits of Tonglen in this experiential workshop.”

White Conch Dharma Center was formed in 2001 by a group of determined altruistic-minded individuals. Under the auspices of Domo Geshe Rinpoche, White Conch Dharma Center grew to be an international Mahayana Buddhist organization located in Neillsville, in pastoral Central Wisconsin. White Conch has centers across the continental United States, Hawaii and in cities throughout Germany.

Suggested donation: $35. Location: 1717 N. 73rd St., Wauwatosa. For more information or to register, call 262-370-5974 or visit White-Conch.org.
