New Lake Country Chapter of Holistic Moms Network

The Holistic Moms Network is launching a new chapter in the Lake Country area and will hold a kickoff event at 10 a.m., February 25, at the Delafield Historical Center. This rapidly growing national nonprofit organization, connecting moms that are passionate about holistic health and green living, will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month at Good Harvest Market.

“Through monthly meetings, our local chapters bring parents together in a non-judgmental environment that honors their lifestyle and parenting choices,” says the group’s Executive Director, Dr. Nancy Massotto. “For new parents who choose to raise their children holistically, having the support of like-minded parents is critical.”

The Holistic Moms Network encourages new mothers to trust their instincts, parent from the heart and educate themselves about the pros and cons of all healthcare options. Members connect and share information and advice on topics including pregnancy, breastfeeding, natural childbirth, positive discipline, alternative medicine and green living.

The organization, with more than 120 chapters across the U.S., was founded in New Jersey in 2003. Moms, dads, grandparents, partners and other caregivers are all welcome to join.
