Bloom360 Learning Community—a new nonprofit school providing a refreshing developmental approach to education for kids with neuro-diverse needs—is enrolling for the 2017-18 school year. Informational sessions for parents and caregivers will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m., February 16, and 1:30 to 3 p.m., February 26, and will be held at the school’s business office in Milwaukee. The final school location is targeted for Waukesha County.

The Bloom360 educational model focuses on whole-child development with a strengths-and-project-based curriculum to help guide each child forward at their own pace with plenty of nurturing along the way. A major collaborator is Vista360, a Milwaukee-based compliance and management consulting firm. Laura Rauman, president and founder of Bloom360, is the parent of a child with neuro-diverse needs and the managing principal at Vista360.

“Parents often struggle to find the right educational environment for their child, especially if the child has special needs,” says Rauman. “One size doesn’t fit all in education; approximately 20 percent of all school-aged children nationwide have neuro-diverse needs. Bloom360 Learning Community offers a whole-child approach that develops strong roots by valuing every child’s strengths and cultivating meaningful relationships.”
