Tresa Laferty, owner of Speak to the Earth, presents Wisdom of the Earth Aromatherapy Certification, a course about natural healing, living in harmony with nature and using the original medicine of the planet—essential oils. The class takes place from 1 to 5 p.m., February 24, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., February 25 and 26, at Inspiration Wellness Group, in Oak Creek. The class will be repeated July 21 through 23 at BodyWise Wellness Spa, in Kenosha.

The class time will consist of lectures, personal healing, meditation and hands-on practice using pure medicinal essential oils. More than 100 foundational essences will be covered in this course and participants will learn about sacred ceremonies and personal healing.

For the past 13 years, Laferty has been using essential oils to heal her family, animals and clients. She brings a grounded approach to learning and presents information in a relaxed atmosphere. Laferty is a certified advanced medicinal aromatherapist, certified ayurvedic practitioner and animal communicator. She has been teaching this Wisdom of the Earth course since 2013.
