Spring Seedling Sale and 
Open House at NuGenesis Farm

The second annual NuGenesis Farm Spring Transplant Sale and Open House will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., May 14, at the farm’s Teaching Gardens at Stone Bank, in Oconomowoc. Attendees can take a stroll through the farm’s raised-bed gardens and purchase organically grown transplants for their home gardens.

More than 50 varieties of vegetable, herb and flower seedlings will be available for purchase, including broccoli, cabbage, calendula, cauliflower, celery, chard, chives, collards, cilantro, cucumbers, eggplants, fennel, kale, lavender, leeks, lettuce, melons, nasturtiums, onions, pac choi, peppers, summer and winter squash, strawberries, tomatillos and tomatoes. All proceeds benefit the NuGenesis Teaching Gardens educational programs.

NuGenesis promotes health, wellness and environmental stewardship through hands-on garden and food education, with the support of the Faye Gehl Conservation Foundation.
