Unity Center of Light Finds Permanent Home in Brookfield

After five years of being a Sunday-only ministry, Unity Center of Light congregation has established a fully functioning spiritual center in Bishop’s Woods, at 150 South Sunnyslope Road, in Brookfield, where in addition to Sunday service, they hold healing services, classes, prayer and knitting circles, Sunday School for children, weddings and christenings.

“Unity Center of Light practices the loving, positive and practical teachings of Jesus Christ, while we honor and learn from the wisdom of all spiritual traditions,” says Reverend Sue Ellen Kelly. “We are a healing center dedicated to the power of prayer and meditation.”

During each Sunday service, Kelly shares a spiritual message enhanced by the music of George Busateri on keyboard and John Zaffiro on guitar, with selected soloists. The church offers classes on prayer, meditation, healing and mindfulness, and also material from well-known authors such as Wayne Dyer, Brené Brown and Caroline Myss.
