Mia Famiglia’s New Menu Stays True to Roots

Mia Famiglia restaurant, in Hales Corners, is launching a new menu that displays a modern twist while staying true to its Italian roots. Chef Tomas White has been testing smallplate offerings over the past year, fine-tuning dishes such as a seared pork belly served with grilled fingerlings, haricots verts, organic spinach with warm bacon vinaigrette Mia Famiglia Restaurantand a local farm egg, which now appears on a substantial small plates section of the new menu.

“We take great care to procure local produce, meats, dairy and eggs,” states White. “It’s important to the quality of the food we serve, but it’s also important to us that we support local purveyors. It’s the right thing to do.”
