Organic Settlers Park Market Open in West Bend

Settlers Park Market—West Bend’s first local, natural, organic specialty-diet foods market—has opened for those that want to eat healthfully, know where their foods come from or need to follow a gluten-free, low-glycemic and vegetarian or vegan diet.

Owner Betty Jo Kiefert seeks out the best quality foods and other products from sources that are as local as possible, as well as an extensive line of bulk sprouting seeds, beans and nuts. She has also sourced high-quality, organic, wild and cultivated herbs, spices and teas. The selection will be expanding and special orders are encouraged.

Settlers Park Market gives case discounts and offers free milk and customer loyalty programs. Educational classes, ranging from holistic remedies and gardening to cooking classes, will resume in January. A small farmers’ market is held inside from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturdays.

Location: 152 N. Main St., West Bend. For more information, call 262-334-4844, email [email protected] or visit Facebook.com/SettlersParkMarket.
