Community Acupuncture Offers Affordable Care

Deborah M. Doerflinger

Weekly community acupuncture clinics offer a way for people without insurance, or people with insurance that does not cover acupuncture, to receive treatments at an affordable price.

“As a holistic health care provider, it is important to me that people are able to get the care they need; community acupuncture is a way to do that,” says Deborah M. Doerflinger, a licensed acupuncturist, who alternates between two locations to deliver the clinics every Tuesday. She says that acupuncture offers a safe, natural and effective way to treat many illnesses.

“My goal as an acupuncturist and practitioner of Chinese medicine is to treat the patient as a whole, to bring the entire body back into balance, so that optimal health can be achieved,” Doerflinger comments.

Locations: The clinics are offered from 2 to 7 p.m. every first and third Tuesday of the month at Free Spirit Crystals, 4763 N. 124th St.; and every second and fourth Tuesday of the month at Remedy, 9203 W. Bluemound Rd. Cost: $35 per treatment. No appointment is necessary and drop-ins are welcome. For information, contact Deborah Doerflinger at 414-899-4505 or [email protected].
