Join us in sacred ceremony as we come together to express our gratitudes and prayer through assembling a despacho. Despacho describes the Andean practice of making offerings to the mountains (apus), Mother Earth (Pachamama), and other spirits of nature in reciprocity, reverence, and thanksgiving. A despacho is an act of love and a reminder of the connections we share with all beings, elements, spirits, and sacred places. At the deepest level, it is an opportunity to enter into the essential unity of all things, the living energy of the universe. We will be assembling a collective/group despacho filled with all in attendances gratitudes and prayers. After the despacho has been assembled we will burn the despacho in a simple yet powerful fire ceremony. Fee to attend is donation based. It is important to be in right relation and practice reciprocity as we walk throughout life. No prior experience required. Come with an open mind and an open heart.
