Finding Calm, Rest, and Inner Peace in a Busy World

iRest Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice based on the ancient tradition of Yoga Nidra and adapted to support the conditions of modern life. When practiced regularly, a little and often, iRest helps us meet each moment of life with greater ease, resilience, and a growing sense of inner peace, no matter what circumstances arise. In this practice, we observe, welcome, and engage the many aspects of our waking experience, beginning with the body and gradually moving through more subtle layers including the breath, feelings, emotions, thoughts, joy, and awareness itself. As we learn to welcome what is present rather than resist it, the body begins to soften, the nervous system settles, and the mind grows quieter. Over time, we discover and connect to the aspect of ourselves that is always peaceful, steady, and at ease beneath the changing experiences of daily life. This six week series offers a gentle and accessible approach to meditation for both beginners and experienced practitioners. Each class will build upon the previous week while also standing on its own, creating space for deep rest, self inquiry, and wellbeing. Led by Beth Major, Level Two iRest Yoga Nidra Instructor.
