Yet, when seen as an intentional process of attuning to what the world asks of us, discernment becomes a necessity. To do that, we need to cue into what makes us feel alive, that is, where we feel passionate, energized, joyful, or even angry. Only then can we know where to invest our attention and care.

With a focus on Ignatian discernment updated for the 21st century, this overnight retreat will help you clarify where to put your energy in your own life and in the greater world we all share. Interactive sessions, quiet reflection, journaling, and other forms of creative expression will guide our time together. No familiarity with Ignatian discernment required.

If you feel overwhelmed by the weight of the world and don’t know where to start, this retreat is for you. The world needs each of us as individuals to discern where to put our energy. Together, we can light the world.
