Every July 25, a heartfelt fundraiser is held to honor Michael Michalski—a fallen City of Milwaukee police officer and and beloved husband of our dear community member, Susan. This special day is dedicated to remembering Mike and supporting C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors), a national organization that assists families and coworkers of fallen officers. Each year, kites are flown in Mike’s memory at Sheridan Park.
