Join Mamata Kate for a peaceful and uplifting mindful meditation! The class will begin with a breathing exercise to quiet outside noise and tune into the body’s energy. After brief introductions, the class will discuss their personal interpretations of mindfulness and identify ways they already incorporate it into their lives. Participants will practice a few basic life skills exercises to demonstrate mindful practices and explore its impact. Following this enlightening exercise, Kate will lead a guided mediation, followed by breathing exercises and a self-meditation, offering techniques to clear the mind. This class will leave participants feeling relaxed, filled with light, and positivity energy which they can optionally send to loved ones or those who need healing.
This class is designed for tweens and young teens aged 11-15. Book two (2) spaces for a discount rate of $30 - sessions must be booked together to receive an automatic discount applied at checkout. Please note the age of person(s) signing up. All supplies are provided. Gathering is limited to 15 tweens.
Kate is a certified mindfulness instructor for all ages called back into service by her angels. She used her background in nursing as a foundation to build her mindfulness path, and has the following accreditations: Fully Accredited Mindfulness for Teenagers and Schools, Mindfulness for Children, and Mindfulness for Children Diploma. Kate also received Certification in Mindfulness from UWM through an accredited continuing nursing education course. She uses the mindfulness practices learned as well as spiritual guidance and intuition to coach her clients to finding a more peaceful way to move through life.
