Exploring Darkness And Light And Our Resistance To The Unknown
We tend to have an ambiguous relationship with the unknown. While we sense the Spirit drawing us into the unknown, we resist, staying where we are comfortable rather than allowing ourselves to be led toward the light, or to give birth to something new.
Through the lens of darkness and light, you will explore your resistance to the unknown as you are guided through spiritual practices that enable you to move into and through the darkness. Time will be spent in reflection, sharing, guided and independent practice. Spiritual practices used will include Three Conscious Breaths, Bio-spiritual Focusing and the Examen of Consciousness.
These practices attend to feelings, actively listen to the body’s language, and promote awareness of the Divine Presence in daily life. Learn how to befriend the darkness and move into the unknown with gentleness and grace as Betsy shares from her training and life experience.
