Mindful Yin Yogassage is a blend of meditation, yin postures, & healing touch.
Find comfort and a soothing release from tension with this collaborative practice of meditation, yin and massage.
The practice of mindfulness meditation evokes the relaxation response within each system of the body including the respiratory, digestive, immune and nervous system.
Yin yoga practice is a cooling, simple series of longer held physical postures (asana). Massage will be offered alongside each yin posture by both Mindful Yin certified instructor Alison von Brown as well as from our licensed massage therapist Jessy Fedie.
Bolster and blankets will serve as a support. Feel free to bring your own.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
Alison von Brown, Integrative Yoga Therapy Instructor, loves to weave mindfulness into each session she leads. Her philosophy is the awareness of the body is the entrance into the mind. Through the mind, we expand our spirit. She feels that yoga can unify the practitioner with to promote natural healing from the inside out.
Jessy Fedie, Licensed Massage Therapist and Yoga Instructor, loves to combine all the knowledge she has learned in her yoga teacher trainings with the knowledge gained from massage therapy school. She believes that massage is a perfect complement to a yoga practice. Ultimately, Jessy thinks that any way we can bridge the gap between Western and Eastern medicine is important.
