For decades, women have often been forced to navigate a healthcare system that treats the body in separate, isolated pieces, seeing one provider for hormones, another for digestion and another for pain or pelvic health. Meanwhile, no one is connecting the dots, and women are left overwhelmed and frustrated with figuring it out themselves. Revitalize Physical Therapy, founded by Dr. Brenda Heinecke, is working to redefine women’s health by developing a new model of care that treats the core issues through their proprietary framework, Revitalize Remedy™.
Dr. Brenda has worked with more than 1,000 women across every age and stage of life. In response to the current issues women are facing in health care, Revitalize’s approach centers around analyzing the six interconnected areas of women’s health: the nervous system and stress, gut health, sleep, strength and stability, nutrition and hormones. By looking at how these systems work together, they can identify what’s truly driving the issues at the core and create a treatment plan that puts the right solutions in the right order.
Revitalize brought this conversation to the community this October with Exposing the Gaps: An Evening Redefining Women’s Health, an evening bringing women and healthcare professionals together to examine the gaps in women’s health care and explore what it could look like to create a more connected, comprehensive model of care.
