Happy Because I Said So

Your life will come down to the emotions you allow yourself to feel, all day, every day. Think of the things you wish to experience in life—be it your perfect lover, a pile of money, traveling the world, getting a pet, whatever you want in your life—because you think you will feel good having it.

As I look at my life, I can see how all the things I have were just a feeling in my imagination until they became a physical reality. I can also say that the things that have not happened in my life yet, that I have been wanting to happen, have not happened because feelings of contradiction have been holding me back. Feelings like, “I’m not worthy yet,” or, “I don’t know if I’m ready”—just random thoughts that have slowed my manifestations from showing up in my life.

The point is to keep your focus on what your life is becoming, not on what is missing. As you focus on what’s not there, you will always see what’s not there.

My imagination is key to my creating. I encourage you to play in the feelings, those good feelings, and don’t stop until you get enough excitement! Feelings are the first physical manifestation. From that place, go about life and notice how those positive feelings begin to show up in alignment with each other. I am choosing to be happy and then seeing how many different shapes and ways happiness will show up in my life today.

I play with an idea, feel the good feeling, hold on to that feeling and take the next inspired action under that feeling: happy. I am as ready to receive happiness as it is to show up for me, without limiting the shape of happiness by thinking it can only come one way.

Life experiences happen to me that are direct reflections of what I am feeling inside. The same has happened for you and will continue to happen to us all, all day, every day.

So, what are the emotions you feel on a regular basis? Here is what I have discovered about noticing and managing my emotions:

  1. Everything in my life will come down to the emotions I allow myself to feel.
  2. I get to choose how I feel every day.
  3. No matter the desire, goal or object, the only reason I choose it is because I think I will feel better in having it.
  4. I don’t need to wait for anything to happen to me to choose to feel good.
  5. If I have the power to adjust how I feel, then … there is no truth to the idea of loss, less-than or lack. How can I lose anything when everything I’ll ever have will be the feelings I generate? (There it is!)

Your life will come down to four words: If you say so.

So I say: I’m living my life one giggle to the next, and I am happy ’cause I said so.

Life is good and so are you.

What say you?
