The Freedom to Choose How You Feel: Real Connection Begins Within

I want to share some empowerment with you. The one thing we all want is to have connection with each other, yet it seems that some people are doing everything except allowing real connection to take place.
If everyone is fighting over everything, the people will oppress themselves, and those in “power” stay in power because we are distracted.
Men are afraid of woman and women are afraid of men. It seems as though many people still want to find any reason and opportunity to be offended, and few will take any responsibility for how their life is going. After all, blame is easier than responsibility. Let’s address this right now.
You all, from this moment on, have a clean slate.
It’s not for anyone to give to you, other than you who is making the decision, and you can choose to follow through on it for the rest of your days.
We can start right from here:
Men: Take your power back from women. No one controls how you think and feel about you except you. Choose to feel good about yourself, regardless of someone else’s opinion of you.
Women: Take your power back from men. No one controls how you think and feel about you except you. Choose to feel good about yourself, regardless of someone else’s opinion of you.
See how easy that was? All you have to do now is simply monitor how you are feeling about what you are observing. If you think any thoughts of dis-empowerment just remember: You don’t have to believe what you think! Especially if it doesn’t feel good. You can allow yourself to feel bad if you want, but just know that you can begin to feel better as soon as you want to.
This is one of many ways to recognize our own power to choose our feelings and recognize that our thoughts and feelings don’t control us. This helps to bring more love, joy and truth into our heart. Feel free to come up with your own flavor and style.
I choose how I feel, then do what I can do and I don’t waste my time complaining about the thing I choose to do. I have the power to stop doing it. I make my decisions. I make peace with the decisions I choose to make. I choose not to do something, and I make peace with not doing it.
I love myself enough to remember that I’m always in control of how I feel. And so are you.
