On Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to noon, Milwaukee Riverkeeper will host its 30th annual Spring Cleanup, a community-wide event dedicated to restoring local waterways at more than 90 locations throughout the Milwaukee River Basin, spanning Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha counties. Volunteers receive free T-shirts, gloves and trash bags to support cleanup efforts.

Afterward, the community is invited to Rock the Green’s 15th annual Earth Day Celebration on the Harley Davidson Museum campus along the Menomonee River. The celebration is free and open to the public from noon to 3 p.m. and is presented in partnership with Milwaukee Riverkeeper and the City of Milwaukee’s Environmental Collaboration Office, with media support from Natural Awakenings Magazine.

A Zero-Waste Celebration: The free, zero-waste celebration will feature a live concert on Rock the Green’s signature pedal-powered stage with performances by Trapper Schoepp and De La Buena. Attendees can also enjoy Baby Goat Yoga hosted by MKE Yoga Social and Platinum Sky Farms (pre-registration required), a sound bowl ceremony led by 1st Lady Ceiba, wellness activities and community programming throughout the afternoon.

Eco-Champs Alley will feature 40-plus environmental organizations committed to conservation, education and sustainability, including Bublr Bikes, Hunger Task Force, Arch Solar, Milwaukee Parks Foundation, The Nature Conservancy in Wisconsin, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and more. Guests can enjoy sustainable food and beverages from MOTOR Bar & Restaurant at the Harley-Davidson Museum.
