Beth is passionate about the healing power of yoga and meditation for the mind, body, heart and spirit. Her background informs her thoughtful, inclusive approach to teaching and includes advanced training as an IAYT yoga therapist, Mindfulness Meditation teacher, E-RYT 500 yoga instructor and iRest Level 2 instructor.
Yoga Therapy for Stress, Anxiety, Osteoporosis: Yoga therapy is a one-on-one approach that uses the tools of yoga including movement, breathwork and meditation to support healing and daily well-being. Research shows that regular yoga can reduce stress, improve sleep and increase feelings of calm and ease.
“I work with clients navigating stress and anxiety, as well as those with osteopenia or osteoporosis, creating a supportive, individualized plan based on how they want to feel in their bodies and move through the world. Practices are designed to be realistic and sustainable. It doesn’t have to be an hour and a half practice every day. It’s about consistent, daily moments to promote resilience and well-being.”
Beth’s work is informed by advanced training, including study with Loren Fishman MD, incorporating his recommended 12 postures when supporting clients with osteopenia and osteoporosis.
