The Green Team of WI, continued its commitment to reducing chemical usage in 2021 by replacing hundreds of gallons of synthetic herbicides with horticultural vinegar. The Green Team plans to accelerate this commitment by using even more vinegar, adding more electric equipment and utilizing more plant-based biodiesel fuel in its vehicles. In addition, they continue to expand environmentally friendly weed-control methods while servicing Milwaukee and the surrounding suburbs.

“Reduced use of synthetic herbicides is good for the health of our members, the community, pets and local fauna. Reduced exposure to chemicals is a key part of The Green Team’s mission,” explains Matt Astbury, the firm’s business manager.
