Philosophy: My beliefs center around preparing pregnant women and their partners to make educated, informed choices about the birth of their expected baby. In addition to providing continuous hands-on support during the birth of their child, I provide instruction in breathing techniques, position changes and touch relaxation designed to relieve discomfort and enhance the progress of labor. For the breastfeeding parent, I provide both phone counseling and in-home visits to assess breastfeeding competency in both the nursing parent and infant.
