A New Home for Milwaukee County Winter Farmers’ Market

Jan 01, 2022 12:00AM ● By Natural Awakenings Milwaukee
The Milwaukee Winter Farmers’ Market (MWFM) has moved from the annex at the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory (aka “The Domes”) to the event space GATHER. The 6,000-square-foot space is located in Suite B at 333 West Juneau Avenue, Milwaukee, above Good City Brewing in the Milwaukee Bucks’ Deer District near the Fiserv Forum. The market takes place from 8 to 11:30 a.m. each Saturday through April 9 (except December 25 and January 1).

The MWFM is operated by Fondy, a nonprofit dedicated to making healthy food accessible for everyone. The organization also operates the Fondy Farmers’ Market, Fondy Farm Project and the Milwaukee Farmers’ Market Coalition. The MWFM helps people eat locally beyond the standard Midwest growing season by offering fruit, vegetables, meat, eggs, poultry, dairy products, freshly baked goods, jams, cider, honey, maple syrup, sauces, soups and globally influenced prepared foods.
