The Hollow at Phantom Lake Offers Kids a Safe, Socially Distanced Halloween Adventure

Halloween celebrations will look different this year, but little children do not have to be cheated out of a magical experience this Halloween season. Organizers of The Hollow at Phantom Lake have put safety measures in place—along with waivers and face masks—and limited tickets this year to create a safe outdoor walk, with ticketed time slots to create social distancing. The Hollow takes place Friday through Sunday during the first two weekends in October at Phantom Lake YMCA Camp, in Mukwonago.

The family-friendly event includes a jack-o-lantern wonderland with more than 1,000 hand-carved illuminated pumpkins adorning enchanted forest trails covered in pixie dust. From black cats and broomsticks to spiders and hooting owls, The Hollow promises to stir the imagination and rekindle the nostalgia of the season. Proceeds from The Hollow benefit the Phantom Lake YMCA Camp Scholarship fund. Dating back to 1896, it is Wisconsin’s oldest youth camp.

Cost: $15. Location: S110W30240 YMCA Camp Rd., Mukwonago. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit TheHollowWI.com.
