Helios Solar Works—a Milwaukee-based manufacturer of photovoltaic crystalline solar modules for residential, commercial, and utility sectors—has released its new 9T6 Series, a 96-cell format photovoltaic module that produces 420 watts per module, the most for any U.S.-made crystalline module.

Helios expanded its product line to provide customers with a broader range of products that will help minimize their total system costs. The number of modules required for installation can be significantly reduced, leading to dramatic reduction in costs.

Steve Ostrenga, CEO of Helios Solar Works, says, “The fewer electrical connections and roof penetrations will also result in lower life-cycle maintenance costs. What we are seeing, depending on project size, are estimates of 10 to 40 cents per watt savings for our customers.”
