How much does it cost? The service is only $4 per week.

Food waste is the last component in recycling. It makes up nearly 30% of what is in landfills. In landfills it rots and produces methane gas which is the number one contributor to climate change. When composted with the proper amounts of carbon material and oxygen, it makes a beautiful nutrient dense humus that adds life to soil.

Farmers need compost to grow healthy crops. Compost helps to eliminate their need on chemical fertilizers. When compost is used on fields, less water is needed for irrigation. Crops better able to fight off disease as well.
