Nov 01, 2022 12:00AM ● By Natural Awakenings Milwaukee
Naturopathic Doctor Sarah Axtell of Lakeside Natural Medicine will present Eat Well, Feel Well Through the Holidays—An Evening with Dr. Axtell, from 6 to 8 p.m. on November 10, at her clinic in Shorewood. This fun, interactive evening will teach techniques for eating well and feeling well during the holidays. Participants can also cook with Axtell and sample food and wine while learning hacks to reduce stress, optimize gut health and stay motivated through the holidays.

“Learn to make healthier versions of your favorite dishes, such as pumpkin pie and stuffing,” Axtell says. “It is possible to love your food and your health. Healthy doesn’t have to be hard and can taste good, too.” Axtell is a naturopathic doctor passionate about using food as medicine with her patients. She helps people facing many health conditions, such as digestive disorders, autoimmune disorders, weight loss resistance, food sensitivities and hormone imbalances.
