Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor Certification Program Begins This Fall

Tresa Laferty

Certified ayurvedic practitioner Tresa Laferty is teaming up with Mosaic Wellness to offer an ayurvedic wellness counselor certification program. The yearlong certification program begins in September and includes a supervised internship after the academic coursework is completed. The classes meet once per month, and the course is approved by the National Ayurvedic Medicinal Association.

Laferty noted that this is the first class of its kind in the area since the closing of the highly regarded Kanyakumari Ayurveda and Yoga Wellness Center two years ago. “Our class is perfect for those wanting a more natural approach to health and wellness,” Laferty says. “It also fits well with any health provider wanting to offer a systematic approach to natural health. For those with a yoga background, you will find it pairs well with your existing offerings and approach.”

Laferty is a certified ayurvedic practitioner and panchakarma technician. She is also an advanced medicinal aromatherapist and reiki master teacher. She holds classes and workshops throughout the area and has been sharing her passion for natural living for over 12 years. She has a busy practice in Kenosha where she sees clients for ayurvedic consultations, body therapies and panchakarma.
